So, it's 4 days after the accident. I've seen a doctor, given my statement to the police, and even got to look at my car and get belongings out of it. It's in horrible shape. We were lucky. Spoke to insurance, and will be getting a rental for up to a month tomorrow.

Crap day yesterday. My wife and I were in a car accident. Rear-ended on the freeway by a truck in a construction zone. He tried to avoid us, which probably saved our lives. I have a huge gash on my forehead and bruising forming all over. I was back home after 4 hours in the ER.

So, update. I was concerned about some swelling around the stitches, so I went to the doctor and asked about it. He said it's normal to see some swelling like this, but he recommended Advil. I took some. It worked. Yay. Doesn't help my sleepiness, though.

@PythonGB @GFuelEnergy In my entire 49 year life, I'd never been in a car accident. This one was unavoidable for me, as I was rear-ended by a much larger vehicle. My car was almost paid off, too.

@PythonGB There are some things I need from my car, which is in the police tow yard. Most importantly is my registration, which I keep with me in the car at all times. I also want to check on the badminton rackets, gym clothes/shoes, child seat, and my @GFuelEnergy drink bottle.
