This is Chandra Kishore Patil from Indiranagar in #Nashik standing beside the #Godavari river. He stands here from morning till 11 pm at night with a whistle and stops people from throwing garbage into the river. Several people behave rudely with him, but he still pursues them not to do such things. When asked how he deals with the resistance, he said that he fills bottles with the river water and asks the people to take a sip from it. When they refuse, he makes them aware of the severe pollution in the river. We need more such warriors like him to protect and preserve our rivers. A Big Salute for this Gentleman! @richapintoi Just drove on the bridge. The build quality is third grade with uneven patches. Don’t know why even a sub 1km road can’t be made well. The traffic signal at Vikhroli West end needs tuning for traffic from below the bridge and above the bridge else it will be a chaos.
