Sad news today, pretty much every force in the country is getting rid of the 30+ scheme which I rejoined under after retirement
That means that this year will be my last as a cop and serving the crown for over 37 years
I knew it was probably coming but I’m gutted 😔

Don’t know if it’s just me but the fireworks this year are ridiculous, been going on from about 1500 and just getting more and more as the evening goes on, had a few rockets pass close over the house
I think it’s about time to ban them apart from managed displays 🤷♂️
