His name was Amit Jethwa. He was 35 years old. From Khambha village in Amreli, Gujarat. He grew up near the Gir forest. The only place on earth where Asiatic lions still survive in the wild. He gave his life protecting it. Most people do not know this. He was one of the key activists whose eight-year pursuit led to Salman Khan's conviction for poaching a Chinkara deer inside Gir. From 2008, he filed six RTI applications exposing an illegal mining lobby operating inside protected areas around Gir. He named a sitting Member of Parliament, Dinu Solanki, in his filings. He filed a Public Interest Litigation in the Gujarat High Court. On July 20 2010, he came to the High Court to file one final affidavit. It stated his life was in danger from Dinu Solanki. He filed it. He walked out of the Satyamev Complex at 8:30 PM. Two men on a motorcycle shot him at close range. Even after being hit, he grabbed the kurta of one attacker. The kurta had a laundry tag. The tag led to Junagadh. A police vehicle was parked outside. Two officers heard the shot. They did not pursue the killers. He was killed outside the gates of the very court he had come to seek protection from. Gujarat Police gave the MP a clean chit. The Gujarat High Court called the investigation far from fair and transferred the case to the CBI in 2012. In 2019, the CBI court convicted Dinu Solanki and six others. Life imprisonment. In May 2024, the Gujarat High Court acquitted all seven. The court said the investigation was a clear eyewash from the beginning. All efforts were made to ensure the truth is buried forever. It quoted Satyamev Jayate. Truth must triumph. Then it let everyone go free. Amit Jethwa's father, Bhikhabhai, is 80 years old. He is still fighting. No one has been punished for his son's murder.

His name was Satish Shetty. He was 39 years old. A social activist from Pune with no political connections and no institutional backing. Just an RTI form and the will to use it. Between 2005 and 2010 he exposed one of the largest land grab scams in Maharashtra. A real estate company had acquired land near the Pune-Mumbai highway using forged sale deeds. After his complaints forced an investigation, 90 sale deeds were cancelled, the sub-registrar who processed the fraudulent documents was suspended and a major real estate project was scrapped. The threat calls started. He did not stop. On the morning of January 13 2010 he went for his regular walk in Talegaon. He was stabbed to death on the road. He was 39 years old. His brother Sandeep refused to let it end there. Local police closed the case. He went to CBI. CBI went quiet. He went to Bombay High Court. He went to the Supreme Court. In 2023 the Supreme Court ordered the case reopened. Fifteen years. Four courts. One brother. Still no conviction. Since the RTI Act came into force in 2005 more than 65 RTI activists have been killed in India and over 400 have been harassed or intimidated. The Whistleblower Protection Act passed in 2014 has never been fully implemented. In India filing an RTI costs ten rupees. For some people it has cost everything. Reason lawyer was present and asked to adjoun the case till the next date. 3. The next date for hearing is 13th May, 2026. He cleared 11 out of 12 entrances to the National School of Drama. No film family. No godfather. Nothing except talent. In 2013 Shekhar Kapur signed him for Paani. Sushant turned down Bajirao Mastani to keep his dates free. They rehearsed together for six obsessive months. Yash Raj Films pulled out. Film shelved. Kapur said this later. He cried a lot. And I cried too. He trained like a professional cricketer for 13 months for the MS Dhoni biopic. Not as an actor. As an athlete. In 2019 Chhichhore won the National Award for Best Hindi Film. Within six months of that success he lost seven signed films. Seven. On June 14 2020 his staff found him in his Mumbai apartment. He was 34 years old. Not a single A-list actor attended his funeral the next day. Not one. Mumbai Police handled it as a suicide. The Supreme Court transferred the case to CBI. Four agencies investigated. CBI. ED. NCB. Mumbai Police. In March 2025 the CBI filed a closure report. Conclusion: suicide. No foul play found. His family called the report incomplete. They have challenged it in court. Shekhar Kapur tweeted this after his death. I knew the pain you were going through. I knew the story of the people that let you down so bad that you would weep on my shoulder. What happened to you was their karma. Not yours. His father KK Singh has had one question for five years. How does a boy who fights this hard for everything simply give up. Four agencies. Five years. No charges against anyone. His family is still in court. The question is still unanswered. A boy from Bihar with no connections. Won the National Physics Olympiad. Taught himself to act. Trained like an athlete for a film role. Won a National Award. Lost seven films in six months. Died at 34. Whatever happened that night in Bandra. The system failed him long before June 14. His name is Ashok Khemka. IIT Kharagpur. PhD from TIFR. IAS 1991 batch. In 2012 he was Director General of Land Consolidation in Haryana. He found a land deal where Robert Vadra’s company bought 3.5 acres in Gurugram for Rs 7.5 crore and sold it to DLF for Rs 58 crore within weeks. 700 percent profit. No physical development. Fraudulent mutation approvals. He cancelled the deal and declared it illegal. Within 10 days he was transferred. That was transfer number 1 of 57. 57 transfers in 34 years. One every 6 months. Every time he exposed corruption in a new department he was moved to a less significant one. Archives. Archaeology. Printing and Stationery. His batchmates became Secretaries to the Government of India. He was sent to manage old records. He posted on X after his 53rd transfer. The reward for honesty is humiliation. He retired in April 2025 as Additional Chief Secretary. He never became Chief Secretary. No medal. No recognition. Just 57 punishments for doing his job.

This is the evidence for my statement- This old man in the video is Satish Shah. Satish Shah’s mother purchased a land in Vattinagulapalli in 1968. From 1968 to 2025 many surveys have happened - every time it was clear that the land belonged to Satish Shah’s family. FIFTY SEVEN years, there was never a single problem. Around May 2025, Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy’s construction company Raghava Constructions bought the land adjacent to Satish Shah. And then started the most harrowing experience for Satish Shah and his family. In June 2025 Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy’s son Ponguleti Harsha Reddy gets in touch with Satish Shah. He meets him and tells that they need small portion of the land for laying a 100 feet road. Since their land is under GO 111, Satish Shah and family told Harsha they don’t want to sell the land. After two weeks, Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy himself goes to the house of Satish Shah. 🤯 The idea is to create fear psychosis. Then the third visit happens. This time Ponguleti Harsha Reddy visits their home and tells that they don’t want 2/3 acres but need the entire land. Satish Shah’s family runs a Goshala and they cultivate the land. They stood their ground and told clearly they don’t want to sell. This hurt the big ego of the big minister & his son. In 2019 land survey happened under high court direction when Satish Shah’s sister was selling her portion of the land. In 2021 land acquisition happened and the family even got compensation from the government. Around 2018-2019 boundary wall constructed Now the revenue minister wanted to use his power to manipulate the land records. He ordered a sudden survey. Satish Shah went to the court and the High Court of Telangana suspended the survey. In the intervening night of 29th-30th October, 7-8 JCBs came without number plates and all walls were demolished. Satish Shah came to know these were Raghava Construction’s JCBs and lodged a complaint to the police. He went to the court and obtained an ad-interim order. There were FIVE physical attacks on the workers by 60 goons. Power was cut. They threaten to kill and burry everyone in the same land. High court gave police protection! Four months since it’s been pending. On Ugadi again, the staff were attacked and the wall of the goshaala that was repaired was demolished again. According to Satish, the police are mute & helpless. The land next to Satish Shah’s land was acquired by Ponguleti family, and construction is being carried out under a new name NewGen Builders. Satish Shah has all documents, all legal rights, has court orders, he and his family are educated & have the resources to fight YET they live in constant fear for their lives. So - my advice! Don’t buy lands in Hyderabad and Telangana because we have land grabbers ruling us 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
