We had a choice to deactivate the API or delay the TGE given there was a malicious payload that could halt the sequencer. With every single CEX and other parties coordinated for a launch it would have been too detrimental to delay. There is a 90 day claim window, we will test solutions before proposing a path forward with proper diligence.

For those DMing me about the Linea airdrop claim, please read my past tweets. I already mentioned the solution but today the Linea team revoked the endpoint access from @codeesura and the Flashbot team. So that is why they are now using another method to claim from your Linea airdrop from compromised wallet to help you all but currently the gas fee is high so obviously they need to wait a little. If they fail I will try tomorrow using a less effective method if you all want me to. And for those curious about why there is unlimited approval of the Linea token, it is because if you try to claim so the Linea token will come into your wallet so the hacker is approving it beforehand to drain your LINEA in case you claim manually. So please be patient!! Everything will be okay but in case you lose your allocation the complete blame should be on the Linea team. First they delayed TGE for a long time and during that period many users got hacked. Then today they revoked the eth_sendBundle access from whitehat hackers as well and ignored what I suggested. So even with all the whitehat hacker effort, if you lose your allocation the Linea team should be blamed.

This morning we were alerted to an issue at with the sequencer after a large bundle was submitted via eth_sendBundle, causing a temporary halt. The issue was mitigated quickly and system is back fully functional. We've removed access to eth_sendBundle for third-parties until we can conduct a full analysis. This removes any community-driven solutions for compromised wallets looking to claim today for TGE, but does ensure the TGE goes ahead as planned. The claim window is 90 days and will share follow up comms on next steps. BIG DAY
