“He Didn’t Want to Walk Home, So He Allegedly Carjacked Two People Instead A 17-year-old in Wisconsin is accused of pulling off two armed carjackings because he didn’t want to walk home after the buses stopped running. It started April 26 in Brookfield. A Raising Cane’s employee had just gotten off work and was heading home when two men allegedly approached at gunpoint and stole the victim’s car. Then the very next night, police say the same thing happened again, this time outside Crazy Chicken on Capitol Drive. Another worker. Another gun. Another stolen car. Police later found the second stolen vehicle parked near 70th and Hope, just blocks away from where the first one had been dumped. Detectives realized the cases were likely connected. That’s when Brookfield police sent up a drone and watched the car from above. When the suspects eventually came back to the vehicle, officers moved in and arrested them on the spot. Investigators say 17-year-old Quinte Russell later admitted to the crimes. His explanation? He didn’t want to walk home. Now two workers who were simply leaving their jobs are left shaken, while the suspects face armed robbery charges in Milwaukee County, with more charges expected in Waukesha County.

On April 18, 2024, in Clarksville, Tennessee, officers responded to a domestic incident at a Tower Drive apartment. Joshua Fox told officers his wife would not let him leave. His wife told officers Joshua was upset over vehicle issues preventing him from leaving. She claimed Joshua had an aerosol can and a lighter and attempted to burn the house down. When she tried to take the can away, they both fell to the ground. She said Joshua then grabbed a screwdriver and held it to her side, causing her to back away. Officers located the aerosol can and screwdriver as described. They deemed Joshua the primary aggressor and arrested him for aggravated domestic assault.
