In 2015 I was diagnosed with cancer and it turned my life upside down. Today, I was promoted to a Lead Developer, and am celebrating my all clear, 5 years since the day I was told my cancer was gone. A toast, the future left to come. Merry Christmas 🎄

Bought some blue light glasses for sitting staring at screens all day, it’s the first time i’ve worn glasses for nearly 7 years 😅 also a new shirt and jeans but they’re not as important feeling so content with life right now

After one of the best days of the year, i then managed a personal best swim, after only 4 swims back. Wow I am happy 😌

A jury has found Derek Chauvin guilty in the death of George Floyd. Though this verdict cannot bring Floyd back, and a transformation of policing is long past due, some small semblance of justice and accountability have been served today.
