@HighwaysEAST Massive issues caused by this failure to reopen on time!

The #A1 southbound remains closed this morning between #A43 (#Stamford) and #A47 (#Wansford) due to overnight planned works. Issues with machinery throughout the night as resulted in a delay to the closure being removed. A signed diversion is in place.

Great joy. We have covid in the house as daughter who has just returned from uni in Manchester tested positive. Likely omicron as it’s dominant there. So I guess I will find out if triple jabs work well in significantly immune suppressed me. 😳 Wish me luck.

@Gary_Cookson In an ideal world, the interview process needs to be adapted. For example …. “Tell me about a time when - but if you don’t have experience of this situation, we’ll give you a relevant scenario and you tell us how you would approach it.”

Helping my eldest son (19yo) to prepare for a competency based interview in a few days. He has never had one before and thinks the whole idea of “tell me about a time when…” when he has never had a proper job is daft. What do you think?
