A great blogpost from my colleague, One technique that I like to use to move faster is to decouple releases and deployments. They are fundamentally different activities and should be treated as such, one is updating the system, the other is the enablement of new functionality

The quality of a system, digital or otherwise, should not only be measured by its ability to function under 'normal' circumstances, but rather how well it responds to suboptimal circumstances or unexpected situations, such as sudden surges in usage.

@CapitalBoo 💯 Learning being viewed as part of the job is definitely one important angle and folks 100% should spend some time, at least weekly if not daily, learning But it shouldn’t stop there. Funding should be available for furthering education, certifications & conferences

@JaysonMcIntosh and if your team(s) are asking for a training or subscription service don't reply with "Can't they just use YouTube?" ... trust that they've done the research into the services they are requesting... or at least have a conversation about alternatives they've explored!
