Florida is on the verge of pushing 4 GIANT Bitcoin Bills
Establishing an entirely forward thinking framework for the State
Every bill is almost all the way through the process, just waiting on DeSantis signature:
Let’s walk through each one:
First we have the creation of our digital asset reserve, which has taken two years to pass, but looks like it’ll finally be pushed through this year.
SB 1038 allows Florida to invest in Bitcoin, while ensuring we also don’t invest in meme coins or shitcoins by having a standard to follow when it comes to digital assets
Second, we’ve created a pilot program for Florida Coin, a stablecoin that will be used within Florida government, but with the goal of having it become a far more expansive project
SB 1568 will be the first step in ensuring Florida is financially insulated from whatever happens to the dollar in the future
Third, we are going to be the first state to have a post GENIUS act framework, allowing for companies in Florida to issue stablecoin under a sound regulatory regime.
SB 314 will push Florida ahead of every other state when it comes to digital asset adoption
Lastly, we have SB 198 which is going to develope a sound regulatory framework for cryptocurrency kiosks.
Kiosks have been the target of bad regulation across the entire country. We wanted Florida to show that you can regulate kiosks without killing them.
All four of these bills create a framework in Florida to ensure we are the best in the US when it comes to bitcoin and digital assets businesses
