Rumours of missing players include Cal, Scales and Trusty. A real headache for the manager if that’s true.

Boosting your fiber intake is one of the simplest and most effective ways to limit microplastic absorption Fermentable fiber found in fruits and vegetables, form a gel-like substance in your gut that traps microplastics and prevents them from entering your system Meanwhile, non-fermentable fiber helps push these harmful particles through your digestive tract before they can be absorbed In a world where microplastics are unavoidable, fiber could be your best defense

Being physically active before a cancer diagnosis is linked to up to an 18% lower risk of death from breast, colorectal, hematologic, liver, lung, and stomach cancers. Even if exercise doesn’t prevent cancer, it improves survival and outcomes after diagnosis—no matter what you do afterward. For cancer survivors, staying active also reduces recurrence rates in a dose-response fashion. One study found that breast cancer patients who were active before diagnosis had a 47% lower risk of recurrence compared to inactive survivors. Why? Exercise makes cancer less aggressive and may delay its onset in those predisposed. It also prepares the body for treatment, improving response, tolerability, and effectiveness. All of this adds up to better long-term outcomes. Bottom line: Fitness is a powerful advantage—even before you need it.
FoundMyFitness Clips@fmfclips

Think of lifelong exercise as prehabilitation: preparing your body to fight disease before it even appears Even if exercise doesn’t prevent cancer entirely, it can make the disease less aggressive, delay its onset, and improve survival outcomes Staying fit isn’t just about avoiding illness—it’s about being ready for whatever comes And with most Americans developing at least one chronic disease in their lifetime—many facing multiple—building that resilience is more important than ever

More than 40% of all cancers and 50% of cancer deaths are attributable to poor lifestyle habits—that means they could be prevented. What are the biggest offenders? - Smoking—which accounts for 20% of all cancer cases - Alcohol consumption—which accounts for 8% of all cancer cases - Excess body weight—which accounts for 6% of all cancer cases - Physical inactivity—which accounts for nearly 3% of all cancer cases Removing smoking and alcohol consumption should be the top priorities to mitigate cancer risk. After that, maintaining a healthy body weight and meeting the recommended exercise guidelines are imperative—this has the ability to profoundly influence cancer risk on an individual and population level.
FoundMyFitness Clips@fmfclips

Roughly 40% of cancer cases in the U.S. could be prevented Out of 2 million new cancer diagnoses each year, almost 800,000 could be avoided with healthier lifestyle choice That’s 800,000 people each year who might never hear the words, “You have cancer" Although smoking is still the leading cause, obesity is now a close second—and it’s getting worse And despite common misconceptions, alcohol significantly increases cancer risk, impacting more lives than most realize

Research suggests that up to 40% of cancer cases could be prevented through lifestyle changes. The evidence is now overwhelming: exercise is not just supportive—it’s a therapeutic intervention that recalibrates tumor biology, enhances treatment tolerance, and improves survival outcomes. Today’s interview features Dr. Kerry Courneya. With over 600 peer-reviewed studies, he is one of the most influential figures in exercise oncology. Even if you aren't someone who has personally experienced cancer in one form or another, you need to watch this episode. Episode 99 is Available now on X, YouTube, Spotify, and Apple Podcasts.
