विश्व स्तनपान दिवस विशेषांक World Breastfeeding Week is celebrated from August 1 to 7 every year, promoting the importance of breastfeeding and support for lactating mothers. This year's theme, "Closing Gaps: Advancing Breastfeeding for a Healthier Planet," WHO & IAP Recommended Exclusive breastfeeding for Six Months that produces no waste, reducing the carbon footprint associated with formula feeding. It also reduce the economic burden on individual, invested in formula feed. Apart from that breastfeeding lowers the risk of postpartum depression, certain cancers, and cardiovascular diseases. Consideration to the overburdened indian population got natural protection from pregnancy during exclusive breastfeed.WHO aims to increase exclusive breastfeeding rates to 70% by 2030. Ensuring the confidentiality of victims maintaining accurate records and extending full cooperation to investigations are obligatory responsibilities of the concerned institutions. Any attempt to conceal such cases in violation of these directives will invite stringent legal action including the initiation of criminal proceedings against the hospital and the medical professionals involved. Let it be clear that there will be no compromise on protecting children’s rights or enforcing the law. Strict action will be taken against any violations.
