Urgent prayer request from a missionary family in a protected country in Latin America: Baby Aaron was born 9 weeks early weighing 3.5 lbs. After a difficult C-section delivery, Aaron’s mother, Mila, is slowly recovering. Baby Aaron was taken to the NICU, where he is currently battling bronchopneumonia. Aaron’s father, a HeartCry-supported missionary, shares the following update: “Fluid has been accumulating in Aaron’s lungs. So it was necessary to increase his antibiotic dose and intubate him to help him breathe. The cost-benefit analysis, in this case, shows the benefit outweighs any harm it might cause him. It will also prevent the phlegm coming from the lungs from going into the stomach and causing sepsis in the stomach. So far, he has responded well to this. Right now, we are praying to the Lord to strengthen his little lungs, to clear that infection out, and for him to respond well to treatment. We pray to the Lord that, in His goodness, He will allow us to hold our son Aaron in our arms.” Please pray that baby Aaron would respond to this treatment and grow in strength and health. And please pray that our good and sovereign Lord would draw near to Aaron's parents.
