@PhilsTailgate @BNightengale I know many Phillies fans dont like Ruben Amaro because how things ended when he was a GM, but I think with his resume', experience, great bilingual communicator and a lifetime "Philly guy" he would make a great manager. An analyst for their games, he has watched them for years.

@JohnStolnis Harper is on the decline offensively, can't be counted on in clutch hitting situations but makes 26 million a year. Schwarber had 132 of their 752 RBI's this season. Offensively they are not the same team without him. What about Alvarado? He looks terrible without his "gear".

OK, hear me out. Harper to DH full time next year. No Schwarber. Kyle Tucker for RF. Pete Alonso for 1B. Aidan Miller at 3B. Justin Crawford in CF. Marsh/RH bat for LF. Stott/Sosa for 2B. Realmuto at C. Trea at SS. Prioritizing Harper's health and happiness.
