@GoodmanHoops Um the only thing that made Stansbury a good recruiter was he was willing to pay what it takes to land a recruit. Everyone can pay now so he doesn’t offer shit

Last I checked LSU has the Will Wade-Rick Stansbury duo. Not saying Kentucky can’t get Hampton, but always remember: The smart money is always on Slick Rick in recruiting.
Jacob Polacheck@PolacheckKSR

NEW: 5-Star SG Ryan Hampton weighs a reclass with Kentucky, SMU, LSU, Nebraska, FSU, and Texas all involved. His father told KSR+ that development, playing time, and NIL will all be factors. So, who has the highest NIL offer? "Think about it." on3.com/sites/kentucky…

@heitner And surely you are doing this for all the right reasons. Not just to make money off college athletes.

@heitner Why not include everyone who exhausted eligibility in the last 20years? Why just include this year? Your lawsuit won’t win. There has to be a cutoff. But good luck.

@raggy___ @BeachBumMuskie You also probably thought Rayvon and McKinley were the next coming as well. I didn’t think either would be very good. Looks like I was right.

@raggy___ @BeachBumMuskie When Paul was a freshman or sophomore he was a top 35 rated player. Kam seems good but I am always leery when guys reach adult height in 8th grade. The fall of 2028 is a long ways away but celebrate high school kids posting pictures all you want

@BigOnBasketball @ThatCoolKid_AC @SSN_Musketeers Sean is bad at buying rosters. Always has been. He bought a bunch of bigs that can’t shoot. Looks like Xavier built a roster that has a little bit of everything. Sean will be in shambles next year when everything falls apart. Have fun. He will be crying for even more money

@Generationexp @mazemoore I mean no one hated Trump until he became a President with an R next to his name. If he ran as a Democrat everything would be reversed. It’s just how the US is divided. Although a lot of republicans don’t play the game and don’t like that Trump has not delivered on his promises

@mazemoore Late-night interviews are usually cordial by design—hosts and guests often play friendly on air even if their politics diverge later or were already different off-camera.

Ready to have your mind blown? September, 2015. Trump was on the Colbert show. Trump: "I'm liking him a lot." Colbert: "I'm liking you too. I'm liking you too." Colbert didn't start his decade long, rabid, all-consuming hatred for Trump until early 2016.

@GoodmanHoops They all lie to keep more money coming and these Field of 68 guys are the mouthpiece for some of these coaches. There will never be enough money. So guess you can hire a robot to coach as long as you have $14 mil +. Why pay these 🤡 coaches so much?

@Dan_Furman Kansas has been paying 5X more than everyone else for like ever. It hasn’t actually made them dominate the sport. The big programs have always outspent everyone else by a ton but now the payments are just legal and a lot more. You still have to build and coach the right roster

Here's what Miller's comments actually mean long term if nothing changes 📌 Within 3 years college basketball will have two distinct categories — 💰 The $20M+ programs: Kentucky. Duke. Kansas. Michigan. Texas. Arkansas. Tennessee. Louisville. Florida. These schools will compete for national championships. 🚫 Everyone else: Competing for a tournament bid. Hoping for a Cinderella run. Watching their best players leave every April for more money. March Madness was already becoming a rich man's game. Sean Miller just confirmed it from the inside. Follow me — I break down the business of college sports daily. 🔁

Sean Miller just said out loud what every college basketball coach has been thinking privately. $20 million rosters are the new normal. Most programs can't survive it. 🧵👇

@tsnmike @jasonscheer Because becoming a free agent every year is not a good thing for fan interest. Turns people off. Players don’t even go to class. Just call it pro sports. If it were not for gambling viewership would crash. A lot of people don’t care about the players, just how much can I win

I was told today, by someone heavily involved in the NIL space, that the most expensive roster in college hoops right now is pushing $30mil. And I think there’s a chance that gets topped before this cycle is over.

How many 20+ million dollar rosters are there in college basketball this offseason? Sean Miller's perspective: "Educated guess? Sometimes you don't have all the information... I would say 20-25." 👀 🎥: youtu.be/V0SFsgbkzPo

@RobDauster A coach told me it was $40 million. But let’s just agree you don’t know any more than anyone else because it’s all speculation and mostly bullshit. I am sure you know that but need clicks

@GoodmanHoops If you combine them with Louisville they would have the best team in the country. Louisville has no shooters and Tennessee has no bigs. I sometimes think coaches have no idea how to build a complete team and just grab the highest rated guys they can get

Tennessee's portal haul is incredibly impressive for Rick Barnes - who will have NO shortage of scoring/shooting this season. Juke Harris: 21.4 ppg at Wake Dai Dai Ames: 16.9 ppg, 38% 3 at Cal Tyler Lundblake: 15.6 ppg, 41% 3 at Belmont Terrence Hill Jr.: 15 ppg, 37% 3 at VCU Jalen Haralson: 16.2 ppg at Notre Dame

@LuckyBarryB @TheFieldOf68 Right and at some point the rich people will get tired of seeing no return on the money they give out. Rich people are rich because they get large monetary returns on their money. The universities themselves can’t afford this. Texas basketball barely returns a profit as it is
