Honestly, I can't stand watching more than 2 minutes of @FoxNews at a time. I'm fine that they have right-of-center reporting but cheerleading non-stop for the Trump administration and Republican DC swamp rats numbs the mind.

I talked about this on The Diner this morning:
Spirit had a buyer in Jetblue - another struggling low cost carrier. The merger was blocked under claims that it would create a "monopoly" - by forming the 5th largest domestic airline.
Now Spirit needs a taxpayer bailout and $JBLU is still struggling. The free market could have handled this, and the combined $JBLU Spirit airline would have still been smaller than United $UAL, Delta $DAL , American $AAL, and Alaska $ALK, and only slightly larger than $LUV Southwest.
Meanwhile, they've just sailed through significantly more monopolistic mergers including Paramount/Warner Brothers et al.
Once again, the Trump administration causing a problem, using taxpayer money to "fix" it, then claiming they've done good as they shit all over capitalism.

For all of the people saying “this is true about all media”, I agree that getting all your information from one source is a horrible idea. But there is a reason I’m calling out Fox specifically. Here’s a thought exercise:
If you had to watch one news source and only one news source, and you were forced to choose between Fox News vs. CNN, you would be more informed (meaning, you are knowledgeable about the current events going on in the world around you) if you chose CNN.
Every news org has strengths & weaknesses. CNN has a LOT of people I do not respect or like, just like Fox does. But there are more serious journalists at a network like CNN or News Nation than there are on Fox News nowadays.

Apparently I have quite a few Fox News loyalists following me, because my last post clearly hit a nerve.
My point is simple: if Fox News is your primary source of information 24/7, you’re probably not getting a clear picture of what’s actually happening in the world. That’s just reality.
It wasn’t always like this. Fox used to balance straight reporting with opinion programming. Now it has leaned much harder into entertainment, elevating unserious voices like Jesse Watters to primetime.
They need more actual journalists like Bret Baier and Dana Perino, and less of the Sean Hannity/Watters model — where opinion, outrage, and performance matter more than actually informing the public.
I thought this was obvious, but I guess not lol

How toxic has MAGA become? They don't even have enough Con Inc Grifters to push the lies anymore, they've had to resort to making AI "influencers".
(For the record, I've had another post about an individual AI MAGA account that has ripped off Magadoltians for hundreds of thousands of dollars in the pipe forever, I just haven't finished polishing it. It's hilarious, though).
