I am developing a new project called KasGraph. KasGraph is the data layer Kaspa needs if applications are going to move beyond raw transactions and into usable, real-time infrastructure. Every wallet, marketplace, explorer, DeFi interface, AI agent, or covenant-based app eventually has to ask the same basic questions: what tokens does this address own, what happened to this covenant, which NFTs were minted, what transfers occurred, what proofs were submitted, and how did the state change over time? Without a shared indexing layer, every developer is forced to rebuild that logic alone. That means slower apps, duplicated infrastructure, fragile backends, and a worse user experience. KasGraph fixes this by acting as a subgraph-style indexing protocol built specifically for Kaspa. Developers define schemas in GraphQL SDL, write TypeScript event handlers that compile to WASM through AssemblyScript, and KasGraph materializes the indexed data into Postgres with per-block proof-of-indexing checkpoints. In plain English: developers describe what they want to track, KasGraph watches Kaspa, remembers the important events, and makes that data instantly searchable. The technical stack is designed around where Kaspa is going, not where legacy chains already are. KasGraph supports KIP-20 Covenant IDs, native KRC-20 and KRC-721 detection, Toccata covenant primitives, OpenSilver patterns, Groth16 proof detection under KIP-16, BlockDAG-aware reorg handling, multi-RPC failover, and KIP-20 confirmation finality. Subgraphs can subscribe to typed events without every developer writing custom detection logic from scratch. The interface layer exposes the same indexed data through GraphQL, MCP, gRPC streaming through KasStream, and WebSocket subscriptions. Same data, four surfaces. Apps can query it, dashboards can stream it, wallets can subscribe to it, and AI assistants can understand it through MCP in plain English instead of raw chain parsing. Performance targets are explicit: sub-30-second indexing latency, p95 query latency under 200ms, and sub-second streaming. MIT licensed. Open source from the first commit. KasGraph is not just an indexer. It is the connective tissue between Kaspa’s execution future and the applications people will actually use. Builders are welcome. github.com/trillskillz/Ka…

Here is the draft for the spec of the mentioned change (including the corresponding algorithms for guests to efficiently prove periods of inactivity with sublinear complexity): github.com/kaspanet/vprog…
Kaspa Commons@Kaspa_Commons

Quick TN10/Toccata update from @michaelsuttonil "As part of the final ZK audit, we found a few Groth16 verifier hardening fixes that should be included before #Toccata is finalized for mainnet. PR #1013 adds this activation-gated hardening: stricter Groth16 input/VK/proof handling, plus per-public-input pricing. Together, these prevent worst-case constructions that could exceed our 10ms-per-block benchmarking target. We are also adding one last SMT polish, suggested by @hus_qy and Max during final review while building the vprogs/based-apps infrastructure. Each seqcommit includes a context hash with block-related info; we want to add an inactivity_shortcut link there to the seqcommit from F-time back. This lets inactivity proofs hop through these shortcuts instead of walking long linear paths, while also avoiding a dependency inside the zk guest on the exact inactivity threshold. Since these changes are consensus-facing, they need to go through a fast TN10 HF/release cycle before we finalize Toccata for mainnet. The work is expected to complete in the next 1-2 days, followed by a fast TN10 activation cycle with up to 24h of prep time. After that, the finalized logic will be PRed back into Toccata without the special TN10 activation scaffolding, and mainnet activation can move forward."

Here we go again: rehearsing a major hardfork on testnet 10, this time crescendoing into Toccata Activation is scheduled for tomorrow May 18, 16:00 UTC. Existing TN10 miners/operators should upgrade now. In a few hours upgraded p2p nodes will stop connecting to non-upgraded nodes as we enter the 24h pre-activation window. Let’s make the mainnet activation boring by making the TN10 rehearsal as mainnet-real-world as possible
Ori Newman@OriNewman

The Toccata hardfork stack is now ready, and we’re entering the final stage before mainnet activation: a full hardfork activation on Testnet-10. The scheduled activation point is: May 18, 2026, 16:00 UTC DAA Score: 467_579_632 Everyone is welcome to join and mine on testnet, so we can verify the transition works fine before mainnet activation. I wrote detailed instructions for joining as a testnet miner (Link in reply)

Pack(集结狼群):用户悄悄提交 Intendo(加密签名承诺)。 整个过程无需中心化平台,完全依赖 Kaspa 的实时高吞吐量 blockDAG(目前已达高 BPS,未来目标 100 BPS+),实现真正的实时、去中心化执行。4.

To me the bottleneck on this "legit defi usage" is the aggregate bizdev talent in kas ecosystem. I guess we'll be able to assess how we score on that once Tocatta launches with the necessary primitives and features. (And since we can't know for sure, and while others are making hopefully successful efforts to attract existing defi activity from other chains, I am attempting a parallel trajectory to bootstrap coordination markets on kaspa. Hopefully at least one of these efforts succeeds.)

why I’m personally excited about Kaspa’s upcoming Toccata covenants - for the first time, I can build creative, complex apps directly over infrastructure I helped design and build - we designed under architectural constraints, but the result came out surprisingly expressive and powerful - Silverscript is cool as hell - I can literally open a *.sil file and write a complex contract that will be fully verified on Kaspa L1 - (nottoself: create a 10-minute video showing the building of such an app e2e) - I can design my own vaults and safeguards, and manage funds securely without risking a heart attack each time I touch a wallet - covenant ids, contract templates, and inter-covenant communication (ICC) feel like a new set of axioms, or a new algebra to work with and discover - sig verify from stack / sighash anyone-can-pay + covenant ids can allow interesting shared-state covenants (requires a non-consensus miner policy; kudos to @maxibitcat for pushing this line of thinking) - complex contract systems can be deployed in one spk hash. no storage rent, no deployment tax; users pay only the transient mass for tx data as they use it - as I’ve mentioned in the past, this becomes especially interesting for AI/agentic environments, where bots could cheaply create one-time agreements between themselves - I didn’t even mention based apps yet. That’s a whole vertical that isn’t ready for exploration yet, but will be very soon

I see you're too unintelligent to use an appropriate word. You clipped a random tweet, not taking into account the last question I had. You got lost in topics trying to appear smart. Good luck! Everyone loves to talk about Kaspa like it’s the “perfect tech play”… But here’s the uncomfortable truth: 👉 Tech alone doesn’t make you money 👉 Speed doesn’t guarantee adoption 👉 “Better than Bitcoin” narratives have killed more portfolios than they built Kaspa is fast. Kaspa is innovative. Kaspa has a strong community. But… ❗ Where is the real-world demand? ❗ Where are the applications people actually need daily? ❗ Who is buying this outside of speculation? Most people aren’t investing. They’re hoping. And hope is not a strategy. If you’re in $Kaspa, ask yourself honestly: Are you early to something real… or just early to a narrative? Because in every cycle, the market doesn’t reward the best tech. It rewards: → attention → liquidity → timing Stay sharp. bitcoin:native kaspa:native
