🚨 EXPOSED: @mnhouseDFL is straight-up lying in their headline 🚨 Here’s their tweet claiming I voted against gun violence prevention because “legislation wouldn’t do anything” and “‘the gospel of Jesus Christ’ is the only way to stop mass shootings.” Actual words I said on the House floor about HF3402 (banning large-capacity magazines): “Hate doesn’t reside in the barrel of a gun. It resides in the hearts of humans. The only thing that’s going to change that is the gospel of Jesus Christ. Not legislation.” I never said legislation “wouldn’t do anything.” I never said the gospel is the “only way to stop mass shootings.” They took my point, that evil lives in the human heart and laws alone can’t redeem it, and twisted it into a cartoonish attack. Classic DFL move: avoid the actual debate on why their bill won’t stop evil and smear anyone who points out the obvious. You can’t legislate the human heart. Has there ever been a more rambling, disjointed, and pathetic presidential war speech?  Donald Trump’s actions in Iran will be considered one of the greatest policy blunders in the history of our country, failing to articulate objectives, alienating allies, and ignoring the kitchen table problems Americans are facing.  He is completely unfit to be Commander-in-Chief and the whole world knows it.
