More winning! Last night the Hawaii Election Commission forced the state’s Chief Election Officer to comply with federal election law. Here’s what happened. I filed a HAVA complaint after discovering Hawaii does not have a valid State Plan implementing federal election law, which is required under the Help America Vote Act. Chief Election Officer Scott Nago claimed the plan was “current.” It wasn’t. He then sent me a letter claiming he had no jurisdiction to hear my complaint. So I filed a lawsuit in federal court. At the same time, I took the issue directly to the Hawaii Election Commission. Last night the 9-member Commission (5 Democrats, 4 Republicans) heard testimony from citizens. Commissioner @ralphcushnie made a motion to force Nago to finally produce the legally required HAVA State Plan. The motion PASSED. Then things got worse for the communists. Another motion passed ordering officials to count ballot envelopes from the Big Island. The 2024 election numbers show: 76,000 mail ballots counted 57,000 envelopes recorded That means 19,000 ballot envelopes are missing. An Inspector General has an investigation open into Scott Nago for falsely certifying in writing to the federal EAC that their State Plan for HAVA is current, when it is not.
🚨 Big Win! Federal Court Ruling Exposes Kotek Administration's ADA Violations in Rushed Voters' Pamphlet Process Today, federal court granted a Temporary Restraining Order in Martin v. Read, recognizing serious ADA violations in the rushed voters’ pamphlet process under SB 1599. Disabled Oregonians like 73-year-old Mary Martin deserve their voices heard without unfair barriers. This win exposes the Kotek administration’s disregard for accessibility. We continue fighting to ensure every citizen can participate fully.

Across the country, Democrats are moving to ban some semiautomatic rifles as well as large magazines. The most extreme legislation may be in Minnesota, which could not only ban sales but also require current owners to agree to home inspections. jonathanturley.org/2026/03/11/min…
