Sen. Collins says she has “an essential tremor, which I have had throughout the entire time I have served in the United States Senate. This benign condition, which affects approximately 1 in 20 people over the age of 40, does not interfere at all with my ability to do my job. The tremor is occasionally inconvenient, and sometimes the subject of cruel comments online, but it does not hinder my ability to work and, as I said, is something that I have lived with for decades.”

Kevin O'Leary's massive data center was approved by a county commission in Utah last night. At 40,000 acres, it would be 2.5x the size of Manhattan. The commission approved the proposal despite opposition from hundreds of locals.

Both the democratic frontrunners for governor want to kill more people by reversing the autonomous vehicle rules that the CA DMV already approved

Trump's intrusion into GOP primary elections forces elected Republicans to take his side, often endorsing dramatically unpopular stances — which generates severe blowback for the midterms. E.g., this probably cost the GOP control of the Senate in 2022 gelliottmorris.com/p/2026-05-06-i…

Russian attacks kill at least 27 before deadline for cease-fire proposed by Ukraine trib.al/gjQSce0

To members of the media: Please pay close attention to the ongoing Russian campaign of terror in Ukraine. Over the course of just over 24 hours, Russian strikes have claimed numerous civilian lives: - 7 people in Merefa (just outside Kharkiv) yesterday - 5 people in Poltava today (double tap targeted and killed firefighters) - 5 people in Kramatorsk - 12 people in Zaporizhzhia - 4 people in Dnipro just now All of these numbers still may update, unfortunately, since doctors are fighting for the life's of the injured. These strikes were intentionally launched on busy city streets in broad daylight to maximize casualties. These victims deserve to be remembered. This must be reported accurately, as a coordinated campaign of terror and murder, rather than isolated incidents that leave room for excuses.
