Hey @Generac, I love my gennie it’s done well by me, but I’d love it if I could have the delay timer work on a schedule. Like 0 delay during the day and 15 minutes at night. We like the delay at night (wife is a light sleeper) but the trade off during the day is inconvenient.

@elonmusk A “0” value in a cell in excel equals 1900. It’s bad record keeping, sure, but it isn’t a 126 year old. Sensationalizing as fraud vs incompetence is a bit silly.

@shoesonplease The jewel of our state basically does nothing to improve our state. With graduates finding the call to their home state better than anything they can get here. Meanwhile the best and brightest who are passed over are leaving the state (permanently) to go to other top schools.

@adamcurry I’ve been experimenting with ai and find that it tends to churn less when it is in a git context. Also, setup some rules in some agents.md files. It tends to help manage the “it made unplanned changes” issue

@Alex_Drain I find it comedic that the @mgoblog rss feed is so wildly out of sync with the articles. I just read an interesting research piece on an all-dunk roster that I missed years ago instead of your recap.

@adamcurry I wonder if the lasting contribution that AI will ultimately have is spiking social media. My feeds have all become a cesspool of AI slop. Poisoning the well might save us all.

@THErealDVORAK I’m convinced that the AP is using AI to write game recaps. Looking at the recap of the UM MSU game from last night, you can tell that whatever wrote that didn’t watch the game. It highlighted one player for an activity that wasn’t central to their contribution.

@TWH_Chris Considering this is the first game where we got to see Bryce play, you know, for real, I think people thought there would be more progression, but he’s a freshmen playing in a bowl, from behind. I’ll give him grace.

The criticism I’ve seen directed at Bryce Underwood on this app has been wild. I get it, he made mistakes against Texas, and those mistakes were costly. He also didn’t progress over the course of the season the way most of us hoped. There’s not much debate there. But if the last few weeks have taught us anything, it’s that these players were shortchanged by the previous coaching staff. That might sound harsh, especially since some coaches were solid in their individual roles, but as a whole the staff was dysfunctional...largely a reflection of Sherrone Moore’s poor leadership. Before flipping to Michigan, Underwood openly questioned the program’s track record of quarterback development. Unfortunately, this season (and the issues playing out behind the scenes) did little to disprove those concerns. Underwood’s raw talent is undeniable. The problem is that after a full season at Michigan, he still looks like a raw talent...and that’s on coaching. I have full confidence that Kyle Whittingham understands exactly what he has in Underwood and will surround him with the right coaches to develop him into what we all know he can be. If Underwood chooses to stay at Michigan, the leap from year one to year two should be significant. #GoBlue

@REALDonThomas I just wish the situation with the AD, President and regents weren’t such a mess. The thing he is getting from Louisville that he isn’t going to get here is stability.

Another note: Jeff Brohm took Purdue and Louisville, two basketball schools, to the Big Ten and ACC Championship games in back-to-back years. I still remember how tough they played Michigan. He can coach, and seeing what he can do with top-tier resources intrigues me. #GoBlue

@TheWolverineOn3 Under the current situation: interim president, AD whose future is uncertain, and dysfunctional regents, I wouldn’t expect him to uproot his family from his Alma Mater to get canned a year later. But would I like Brohm? Hell yeah, but it’s not happening.
