The people that are supposed to stand by Sim FUBARA to faiyt wike, are actually more ready to collect a bottle of original kaikai and betray their brother. Those who hold enough 'groundnut' to make this anyhowness stop are observing table manners: -Tompolo is busy protecting the interest of his pipeline surveillance job. -Asari is busy twerking for Tinubu so he can get something that looks like what tompolo has. -Ateke, is upholding and minding his staff of office as a paramount ruling. -The jaw elders are all quiet so the won't lose their seat at the table of their king Makers. Truly, It's not been an easy walk for Sim. Though, as part of our mandate tiffers, they deserve what they have. The only path at the ijaws redeeming themselves in the political eyes of the masses is now on the shoulders of @iamHSDickson His playout with this Obi X kwankwaso movement is what would determine if truly, the ijaw man knows his onions but is being downplayed by the powers that be.

@chisomholic @patrickanum education walked through you, he is questioning us for reacting the way we did while the man who did the damage has not for once been sorry for his actions. 100% igbo is sorry for what is happening in the middle belt. Put old fool like gowon is adding salt to our wound

I understand your very valid points. Being part Middle Beltan myself I'd never feel pained by such tweets like you replied, because 1. Gowon did what he did and hasn't stopped poking at the Igbos till today. 2. Gowon NEVER condemns nor even acknowledges the problem in the Middle Belt. 3. Gowon is partly responsible for said problem. To be fair, I (and millions of Igbos) feel sorry for what is going on in the Middle Belt despite the region's contributions in the past (and arguably present) to our issues, but having the most important person in this story right now still talking and opening healing wounds despite never acknowledging what he did, nor apologise for anything, or even focus on liberating his own burning region using the time he spends kissing the ruling party's feet while they torch his very own village, will only continue to spawn negative reactions like the one you replied and there's nothing you can do about it. The truth is that if 3 million Igbos died in the civil war, 30 million and more will die in the middle Belt. It's not a curse, I say this with sadness because the statistics are there. We know what the ethnic cleansing agenda is and your man Yakubu is helping them achieve this goal not just by setting the ball rolling in 1967 but even now. The only saving grace is a president in the category of PO. Otherwise, if APC or their Fulani gang remain in power our lives are just gonna get worse and people will continue to jeer at you and mock your pain while in pain themselves because of stupid old men like Yakubu Gowon.

The type of hatred that a section of these folks have for the Middle Belt has been brewing and if I might add, growing for quite a while. I used to go to many of their rooms and just sit quietly and listen. You would not imagine what they say about Middle Belt people. I only wish I had recorded some of the rooms. You would hear statements like “they will continue to unalive all of them” This particular writers statement comes from such categories” Whenever there is a killing in Southern Kaduna, Benue, Plateau, Taraba, Nasarawa, Kogi etc, you just need to go under the comment section on Sahara Reporters and other news platforms to see the vitriol being spewed. I used to ignore it for a while with the hope that it would die down. But the first rule about hatred in Nigeria is that, if it is not addressed, it grows. I can understand if someone hates Gowon. I will not be mad at that, but this is no longer about Gowon, this is about dehumanization and inhumane things being said about Middle Belt people based on past events of which they know nothing about. Ironically, the Middle Belt is filled with Igbo people who have migrated there to conduct business. Most of the time, those piling on these insults don’t even know this. Whenever we speak about these issues, we are blackmailed with words like “didn’t we in the past help you speak about the unalivings by Fulani in your area?” That is not the issue, and that does not excuse a section of your group constantly make dehumanizing remarks regarding our unalivings The ordinary people in the Middle Belt through the government of J.D Gomwalk kept the properties of Igbo people and returned them after the civil war. In particular, the people in the Benue division flooded food items to the people of the East Central State after the civil war This is what their children get in return, taunting at every turn while living in our territories en mass. Most Middle Belters won’t call out this insanity but I have a reputation for calling out everything. Maybe a section of you who seem to be unable to resist insulting us should inform your brothers to return back and stop living among us if we are such terrible people I am tired of having to see this madness

I commend the @ndlea_nigeria and its operatives for the successful dismantling of a major drug syndicate and a multi-million dollar narcotics production network operating within our country. The seizure of illicit drugs and chemicals valued at over $360 million, alongside the arrest of key foreign and local collaborators, sends a clear message that Nigeria will not yield its future to criminal networks and narco traffickers. West Africa is increasingly becoming a major corridor in the global narcotics trade, and this poses a direct threat not just to our security, but to the future of our young people. We must confront this danger with courage, coordination, and consistency. I urge Nigerians to support our law enforcement agencies by remaining vigilant and reporting suspicious activities within their communities. I commend the NDLEA for its professionalism, bravery, and resilience. The fight against illicit drugs is a fight for the soul, safety, and future of our nation. Bola Ahmed Tinubu President

Obi Cubana has quietly deleted everything connected to City Boys and Bola Tinubu from his Instagram. No posts, no photos, nothing. The man took serious heat from ordinary Nigerians for publicly backing someone the people had already rejected, and now, without any announcement or explanation, he has simply walked away from all of it and gone back to focusing on his business 😂.

Breaking: The Federal High Court in Abuja has nullified INEC’s directive requiring political parties to submit their membership register by May 10, 2026, ahead of the 2027 general elections. Justice M.G. Umar ruled that political parties have until September 2026, in line with the Electoral Act 2026, to submit updated membership registers and candidates’ particulars. The judgement is expected to give room for politicians who lost party primaries to defect to other parties ahead of the 2027 elections.

Let me tell you how it happened. Nigeria’s ginger export hit zero from N26 billion within 3 years. The official story blames fungal blight. But here is what actually happened. When Nigerian farmers lost their indigenous seed supply, grant-aided interventions arrived with replacement seeds. An associate professor at Lagos Business School flagged publicly that some of those interventions involved GMO organisms that weakened indigenous crops and compromised soil health. That is not a conspiracy theory because it is a documented academic concern. Now that Nigeria spoke got destroyed by the GMO seedlings….what is not the result? Nigeria was forced to import ginger from China to fill domestic demand. Chinese ginger has none of the pungency, oleoresin content, or quality that made Nigerian ginger a global premium product. And the ginger now sitting in Nigerian markets tastes like wood because it essentially is wood. The two indigenous varieties that built Nigeria’s global ginger reputation, the Tafin Giwa and Yatsun Biri, had decades of soil relationship and quality built into them. Once the soil was degraded and those seed varieties were displaced, the product that returned was a pale imitation. Nigeria did not just lose a market. It lost a seed. And without a National Ginger Seed Bank, which nobody has built, it may never fully get it back.
