True story: I used to recommend The Bitcoin Standard™️ to people interested in bitcoin, but everyone I recommended it to had essentially the same review: I enjoyed the Bitcoin sections, but everytime he talks about anything other than Bitcoin he’s so batshit off base that it makes me question the Bitcoin parts. Now I recommend Broken Money & Resistance Money instead - which descend into no such wannabe-polymath delulu.

Currently reading Decrypting Money. Solid treatise on the nature of money and bitcoin!

@leebtc21 Agreed, you are paying a fair market price to support the system.

Bitcoin is the only financial "service" where I enjoy paying fees. Whether onchain or Lightning, it just feels great to pay for decentralized infrastructure.
