Over the past two weeks I've had a bunch of packages delivered by @FedEx that required signature. Three of them were just dropped at my door without a knock. Today's was marked "Adult recipient unavailable" with no knock so now I have to go pick it up.

Linus Tech Tips@LinusTech

@kirkulanis Online websites and creators are supported by ads. I thought that was pretty common knowledge? Ad blocking is the exact same thing as piracy. Literally the exact same thing. Ppl will still do it and I've been guilty of it at times, but we just need to be aware of the impact- LS

@pry0cc Everything I've tried in the past has mostly sucked so I'm hoping people can drop some knowledge in this thread.

I'd look at the code to see what's up but it turns out this isn't actually an open source project, it just kinda masquerades as one.

Random wiki application I'm evaluating creates a "wallet.dat" file. Author of said application says it's for "future pro license key data". Sketchy or cool? github.com/retypeapp/rety…

I will never not like/retweet threads about command-line tips and tricks, no matter how simple or complex they are. Sharing is caring, and it's a refreshing attitude to see.

I'd guess 50% of Discord's user base is just people who join servers, turn off notifications, and never interact with said sever again.

@_pronto_ This solution also adds a layer of security to your infrastructure in that attackers can't unplug your cable and plug in their own.

@_pronto_ I'd think the point of failure is more likely to be the connector rather than the cable itself. The obvious solution though is to super glue your cables into the ports.

why don't they list the working load and tensile strength of cat5/6/e cables? i need to know how much weight they can hold for when the clients router falls off the shelf and sits like that for months
