2) be brutally honest about your goals, and what motivates you. When in doubt, stack rank them. 3) don't be overwhelmed with the amount of skills you need to be excellent at your job. Work backwards, unpack and pick something to take action on.

@shreyas @shreyas this reminds me of the notion of how"RICE" may not be adequate at prioritizing roadmap tactics because the easy/low hanging + low impact work tend to rank higher than uncertain, high effort, big bets. but it is the big bets that add the most value

So if your goal is to get high ROI in your work, you can do 2 things: Increase Value i.e. work on higher value things Decrease Cost i.e. work on things that take less time With an ROI mindset, people naturally gravitate towards decreasing the denominator via "quick wins"

@WilliamNutt @NotionHQ Thanks @WilliamNutt is there not a better way? that means I have to create a linked database of my master task database for EACH of my meeting notes? issue is 1) it is slower to load 2) the list is really long.

@JefferyChen @NotionHQ Add a Linked Database for your master Tasks database to your meeting template. Filter it according to your meeting flow. You might consider relating your Tasks and Meetings databases, then filtering to show the tasks related to your meetings.

@WalmartCanada also. There is no proper queue. If the staff forget you called (which happened to me), you will have to wait again. The whole experience was a waste of time (30 min of waiting in the parking lot)

@WalmartCanada and employee #2 directed me to call a number. Then no one picked up the call. After three tries, I was directed by the caller to line up at a different area of the store. And the entire experience was long and a ton of waiting. Might as well just shop myself...

@WalmartCanada tried buy and collect today. The experience is very underwhelming. This piece of white paper (too small to really see) is the only sign that tells customers where to go to pick up. So far my UX consisted of going to the store, employee #1 doesn’t know what to do.

It really is a very bad look for people who have spent most of their careers at generational tech companies to be extremely harsh on products that were successful on most dimensions but didn't become the next Airbnb or Uber Especially so when its the VCs

@ryandeiss It requires a bit more attention to sort through physical mail vs email. Attention is really what marketers are buying. Also, personally sometimes I enjoy the tactile feeling of physical products.

Why aren’t more marketers doing direct mail right now? Everyone is at home. Everyone has time to read. Even businesses are still checking their mail, but I bet it’s way, way down.
