Client paid for a full planti suit, disappears without notice once suit is complete (minus bodysuit), try to contact them for about 16 months, terminate the project and go to refurb it, client returns and demands a refund of 4k (they paid just over 3k) and claims they spent 7k on it and I only did "the head and hands". Tell them I won't refund them because they disappeared until a day after my deadline to contact me. They then trauma dump about drug use and claim they had their phone taken away due to it. Decides they want the suit and tells me the Australian government has to pay me for the shipping. Australian government DOES pay me for the fursuit shipping. Client doesn't pick up suit from customs for over 2 months until I email the Australian government begging for someone to go get the suit before it's shipped back to me. Learn later that the client is an absolute weirdo to the local community and minors. 🙃
