@MbRich20 @NatureGirl_21 She’s using data about working women to make a point about moms. And then calling working women (who it’s impossible to know whether they have kids at home given the data) selfish. While she populates the Earth with genes no one asked for. I don’t think I lost this argument.

Other than nursing and teaching, all of these jobs are pointless. I cannot fathom why women are choosing these made up careers over family. And I dont just mean single women, I mean mothers who could stay home and opted for daycare instead so they can rush back to the office. Its insane.

@NatureGirl_21 This graph you posted shows nothing of working MOMS. It’s women. Not all women choose to have kids.

@jameszimmermann I work full time and have been making meals weekly for my friend with a new born. Amazingly, women can do more than one thing.

A family from church has a boy in the hospital, my wife made them dinner to ease their suffering. I like being married to a woman who does stuff like this instead of typing numbers into a spreadsheet at a job she hates. Happy to work a little harder to make it happen.

@MJPiazza2 Terrible and irrelevant analogy relating two impossibly different ideas. Check out any adoptions statistics. Nearly half of youth that age out of foster care end up incarcerated and nearly 1/5 of our prison population comes from foster care.

They still don’t get it. It’s not just the expense. It’s the disbelief that your kid will have a good life. It’s the threats against women’s rights. It’s the lack of equality in relationships STILL. It’s the inability to find a quality partner. It’s the maternal mortality rates. It’s climate concerns. It’s war concerns. Its rule of law concerns. And that 100% does trace back to political decisions being made in DC by both parties.

All 50 U.S. states have fertility rates below 2.1, the bare minimum needed to maintain the population. The U.S. government must stop depressing birth rates by making it so hard—and so expensive—to raise children

It’s not about drugs. If it was, Trump wouldn’t have pardoned one of the largest narco traffickers in the world last month. It’s about oil and regime change. And they need a trial now to pretend that it isn’t. Especially to distract from Epstein + skyrocketing healthcare costs.

RFK Jr seriously needs to keep his mouth shut. You don’t get to tell women to “just breastfeed” in a country with no national paid leave, no guaranteed paid pumping breaks at work, no affordable childcare, and workplaces that barely accommodate lactating parents. Breastfeeding isn’t just a choice, it’s a system dependent behavior. If you want to promote it, you’d better start with the systems that make it possible.

Breastfeeding is an amazing gift to give your child if you can do it. But doing it initially requires being with your infant all day and night. Doing it "as long as possible" requires being physically with your child or being able to pump and store your milk when you're not with them. Is RFK pushing for a year of paid leave so mothers can breastfeed? Is he demanding workplace accommodations so breastfeeding mothers can pump?
Aaron Rupar@atrupar

RFK Jr: "All of the ingenuity of corporate America has not produced an infant formula that is superior in nutrition and all the qualities that we want to the infant formula that God made, which is the infant formula in a mother's breast."

Musk infamously posted and reposted a meme falsely claiming Republicans hadn't changed their views in the last decade while Democrats had moved left. An FT study confirms that was a lie: Democrats are typical for Western democracies and MAGA and Musk are... NEARLY OFF THE CHART.
