@fmarleypaterson As a parent and as chair of governors at St Martin & St Mary’s it has been amazing to watch members of our community come together with our staff today to help our school. Thanks to everyone who has enabled us to open again tomorrow, we are so grateful for your help.

St Martin’s & St Mary’s School #Windermere has had to close today while staff make the site safe for children after the roof of the year 6 classroom was ripped off overnight by #StormFranklin. The head teacher says the community has rallied round to help & they hope to open tmrw.
