Personal update: Last weekend, while covering the Knicks riots in Times Square, I got clocked in the head by a flying glass bottle Doctors believe I suffered a concussion, resulting in confusion, brain fog, and fatigue—the latter two I’m still dealing with days later. That’s why my post volume has dropped, as I’m still the only one who posts on my account. Thanks so much for all your support, and I hope to be back on the road covering stories ASAP 🙂🇺🇸

Good morning from Galveston, Texas. Our main mission today is to get a new suitcase. Everywhere we go, people are so incredibly kind to us. This is what we received from the Police Department and the Astros yesterday. What I appreciate most is that they always think of my friends too and prepare gifts for them as well, not just for me. I teach auto shop at a small high school. We work on students cars, teachers cars, students parents cars and some community people cars. We only charge for parts and not labor, so we saved some people a lot of money last school year. This last school year we did 126 oil changes, 68 brake jobs, 85 alignments, 4 steering racks, 22 tune ups, 32 struts, 20 shock absorbers, 4 transfer cases, mounted and balanced 82 new tires, 4 timing chains, 15 valve cover gaskets, 14 thermostats, 4 radiators, 12 in tank fuel pumps, 8 EVAP canisters, 6 exhaust manifolds, 4 mufflers, 15 AC repairs including evacuate and recharge, 8 alternators, 22 batteries, 9 starters and so much more! Proud of those students I am!

So… we’re expected to believe that in California, out of three candidates, the third place candidate, who conceded her campaign because she was mathematically eliminated from the run-off, suddenly received tens of thousands of votes from mail-in votes which all came in *after* Election Day, while the other two candidates received no late mail-in votes, and the second place candidate (who was surging as a Republican candidate in the bluest state in the country) is now in third place and mathematically eliminated from the run-off. … and we’re supposed to trust that this is an honest and true election. If you’re not angry about this, you need to be.

A friend I hadn’t seen in years came to town for Pride yesterday and hit me up to go with him. At drinks, he casually said, “Lord this president is gonna be the death of us.” I realized he didn’t know I voted for Trump, so I played along. ME: “What do you mean?” HIM: “This Iran bullshit. It cost me twice as much to fill up driving up here.” ME: “I don’t drive, but wasn’t gas expensive under Biden too?” HIM: “It wasn't this bad. Trump promised no new wars, price decreases, no new taxes. Everything he said was a lie.” ME: “Oh well, all presidents lie. Biden said he didn’t have dementia and look how that turned out. In fact, Trump is only the president because your guy melted down on the debate stage.” That’s when he realized who I was. HIM: “OMG you voted for that asshole?” ME: “I sure did. You think I would ever give a lying woman like Kamala Harris my vote just because she seems to be the same race as me?” HIM: “Let’s just change the subject.” Why do I keep trying to be friends with these INSANE liberals?

But watching you flee, then lecture us from your new red states while declaring California “dead” because YOU left? It’s gut-wrenching. We don’t cut and run. We fight. If you truly love this Republic, stop the defeatist bullshit. Get your asses to California. Register. Vote. Organize. Volunteer. Help us flip this blue cancer before it spreads and kills the whole country. We’re holding the line with everything we have. Join us - or shut the fuck up.
