@bearhock @BraddrofliT No. I live in Oregon where we all vote by mail. It works well and it’s safe. How do ‘fraudulent’ voters know the signature. We track our ballot on our phones. You are talking about a different issue. Authorities who deal with death certs need to notify voting registration.

@JenRodbowers @BraddrofliT You’re talking about an absentee ballot. Many states mailed out ballots willy nilly. PA mailed to dead folks that hadn’t been removed from rolls. Mailed to folks that had relocated. Like I said- opportunities for fraudulent votes.

If someone tells you mail-in voting is “easily hacked,” they’re either uninformed or hoping you are. These ballots are tracked, verified, and far harder to mess with than people think. When politicians attack them, it sounds less like concern and more like frustration they can’t control your vote.

@bearhock @BraddrofliT Our signatures are on file. Mine looked a bit off one time and I was notified and had to go in and ID like when I registered and then they accept it. Others do not vote for us. Only ones voting for dead relatives are Republicans. We have a barcode. You obviously haven’t a clue🤪

Anybody can fill out your ballot. In an absentee ballot scenario, you must present yourself with your ID and document your signature. So when they mail you a ballot there is a signature verification and some id info transferred that can be verified. With mail-ins, anybody can fill it in and sign and drop it in a collection box. No post stamp needed so date can’t be verified. When received, ballots and envelope are separated. So if it was mailed, post stamp can’t be reverified or tied back in any way to the envelope. This system cannot be truly audited. Jimmy Carter used to say that any country that used mail in ballots was suspected of fraud. I guess you think we have magic dirt here that makes us immune to that.

@BraddrofliT Exactly. Our ballots have a barcode for each individual eligible voter. They are tracked. We are notified when they are mailed and then after vote we get notified once they are received and then notified when they have been verified and approved and counted.
