When I was diagnosed with breast cancer & told I also had thyroid cancer & a tumor in my abdomen I walked away from them That was 7 years ago. Yesterday for the first time I pulled all of this out. I started to put it in order by dates. I almost don’t wanna look at it 😒 I put it away because I didn’t want any of it in my mind. I made a decision to believe that I was going to get better. I didn’t do a damn thing they told me to do. I literally walked away and put all of this in a file I went to the dispensary and started using cannabis oils. Within three weeks most of my symptoms were starting to go away and I realized it was saving my life. Now I see this girl talking about diagnosis & spells and I never really thought about it like that but I know how powerful your mind is The decision I made to put these away & completely ignore them may have been what saved my life even more than the Cannabis, but I don’t know All I know is that I survived it and four months later I was feeling better than I had in 20 years I’m gonna try to dig into this stack of records while being very conscious about not believing any of it and understanding i don’t have to internalize it or make it real I really was very very sick, I knew I was dying, but I knew I wasn’t going to die by their chemo and I knew I was going to die with my thyroid in my body if I could. I really don’t think I would’ve done anything differently if I were given the chance to do it again. It was a fairly easy recovery & very fast. 4-5 months total But I’m gonna write an article and put these thoughts together. Im trying to get started. It’s just hard because I really never wanted to look at this stuff again. But I know it’s important

Lost a dear friend in 2017 days before Christmas He was a long time employee at Daiquiri Shak on Madeira beach He was always equipped with cameras and what they say is the proper gear. 3 AM nobody on the road. The cameras don’t show anything. My husband (deputy) saw the footage. It’s just like the back wheel slipped. 🤷‍♀️😞 That’s all it takes when you’re going 120 It’s been nine years since I put up a Christmas tree 🎄

One of my very close (good friends) killed himself when he turned 40. He had a beautiful wife and a baby girl. He was an orthopedic surgeon. He was gentle and always kind. He shot himself in his home with a shotgun. His suicide note said he had no friends. I think about him a lot. His wife. His daughter. I think about the kind of friend I was. I think about being his age and what life is like. Check on someone today. You never know what they are dealing with. RIP Eric. You are missed my friend. I’m sorry.
