Thank you so much for you’re well wishes, he’s staying in hospital he has a neurological condition which is making him have a judder in his eyes loss of balance and sickness. A sort of severe vertigo he’s having a mri next had scan, I’ll keep you posted ❤️ thanks

Well, update. I can prop myself up in bed, drink from a cup or glass, and ‘sign’ my name with the ‘bad’ arm. I can wear jocks, not a nappy. I can walk with a walker. This week, I’ll lose the catheter, and transfer to a car as a passenger. Onwards!

Last night may have been the greatest and worst night of my life. Finishing 21 miles at 1am as it poured down for hours on end, truly showed me that despite experiencing the worst pain I’ve ever experienced- your body and mind can simply do beautiful things.
I’ll be honest I have no idea how I’m still going. It feels like my body gave up working properly about a week ago but I’m so determined now to get to that finish line that no pain is going to stop me. Spending 7-8 hours in your own head everyday makes you rethink a lot in life, probably turning me insane at this point but it also makes you realise how short life really is.
3 days to go now until the finale. Tomorrow at 6.50am I will be live on BBC Breakfast. Thank you for making a dream come true! Keep going, I’m so proud of you. Mental health matters

Yeah today was just not it.
Body only managed 5 miles before I just came over very ill. 1100km in, I expected some sort of injury or illness but this was just brutal. Took the rest of the day to recover and refuel but tomorrow it’s straight back to it.
175 miles to do in 8 days is going to be tough but I’ve not come this far to quit. 22.5 miles every day- 7am start tomorrow to try plod through as many miles as I can, it’s not going to be a pretty sight on the side of the A9 road

Today has truly made me realise how blessed the last year has been. Met some incredible people, changed my mindset completely and ran a lot of miles. Thank you to everyone on here who’s helped make this possible, to meet people who see me on social media is mind blowing. Onto the next year ❤️
