Defend this one, boss. Both pictures are after the winning run has already scored and the celebration has begun. In the first, Rodriguez is catching the ball at his knee while turning to find his target (while the ball is in his glove at his knee) Again, the run has already scored and Auburn is already celebrating. In the second, he has flown open 90 degrees, taken the ball up from his knee, gone through his whole throwing motion, and launched it in the direction of the crowd. Now, that’s a long damn time from when he turn to find a target and would’ve seen the game was *clearly* over. Is your take that an SEC shortstop who makes split-second decisions all the time couldn’t process that when he turned his head the game was already well over so he went through his entire throwing motion and cut it loose? If so, that’s certainly a take.

Respectfully, you’ve very obviously never been a cutoff man on a play at the plate if you think the kid was trying to intentionally smoke one of the Auburn players.
