It's pretty bad when I have to reach out to the @bbb_us to get @Ford to give answers to my friend about his vehicle! #fordsucks #bbbtotherescue
English

@jimfarley98 who can I reach out to when @Ford customer support is of no help and has left my friend stranded for almost 2 months? Is there anyone above Customer Support that can assist?
English

@Ford is there anyone in that can help my friend with his vehicle? Customer service is not helping. #fordsucks #hondaownerforlife
English

@Ford why does it take over 30 days for an answer from customer service? I assume it's because #fordsucks ?
English

@Ford please answer my friend so he doesn't lose his job. It's been way too long. Stop dragging your feet. You've already admitted it's your fault. #ecosportsarelemons #fordsucks #neverbuyaford #hondaownerforlife

@Jack1Fantastic @GuyDealership My friend is dealing with the same thing with no response from Ford! Same car too! 😤
English

@GuyDealership Was it a Ford Ecoboost engine as they all will fail eventually and piece of crap Ford will deny all responsibility for their terrible product. #Fordsucks #Ford #Ecoboost

What would you do in this situation?
Customer bought a car from us.
Drove it only 6,000+ miles...
And suddenly, the engine went bad.
We asked the customer to bring it in so we could check the engine.
It was filled with pieces of metal (this wasn't the case when we sold the car).
We put in a warranty claim on behalf of the customer.
It got denied.
Warranty company claimed the customer replaced a component in the car and that caused the issue.
We checked all of the components — Doubt that anything the customer did could have impacted the engine (but you never know).
Now the question...
1) Suck it up and fix it: Spend $5-6K out-of-pocket to replace the engine even though this issue was likely caused by some form of (unprovable) negligence by the customer, or...
2) Turn the customer away: Knowing that they will likely become a brand "hater" - irrespective of the fact that we held up our end of the bargain - and that there is a chance this wasn't their fault.
What would you do?

@Ford and @jimfarley98 I just want to thank you for your drawn out customer service delays and as a result, making my friend be stuck in Florida for almost 60 days with no response and potentially losing his job. #2020FordEcosportisjunk #fordcustomerserviceisajoke #neverbuyaFord
