Killing important characters? Do you do it? IMO, sometimes you have to kill someone off to keep the story authentic. As nice an idea as "everyone lives" can be, it doesn't always work. How about you? #writingcommunity #writinglife #authorlife

@ReneeGendron My first instinct is to check for redundancies. Scene redundancy, line redundancy, word redundancy. Does everything on your page develop or move your story? Or is it "fluff", per se?

@JDCaren I tend to skip over glossaries. And maps. And family trees. I like my worlds built from the inside out, not the outside in.

#writingcommmunity and #readers when reading fantasy, do you prefer a glossary of terms and descriptions of people, places, and creatures or do you prefer to discover what things are by context as you read the story?
