I-90 from North Bend to Ellensburg will remain CLOSED overnight. The highway has severe compact snow and ice, making for treacherous driving conditions with more weather on the way. Spring storms bring freeze/thaw/freeze conditions, essentially turning I-90 into an ice rink.

A La Niña Advisory has been issued, meaning that La Niña conditions have been observed in the tropical Pacific Ocean and are expected to continue through the December 2025 to February 2026 timeframe. A transition to ENSO-neutral conditions, meaning neither El Niño nor La Niña conditions, is most likely in the January to March 2026 timeframe. (1/2)
