@RE_McGEE @lizzim9 I love these. Our students enjoy making them too, and it’s so nice to be able to have a window into their personal worldview. #REChatUK

@lizzim9 We also have lessons where students will talk to the class about their worldview glasses and take questions from the class. This also widens participation and allows students to speak at more length to avoid that tokenism. #REChatUk

@JenniRaw @RE_McGEE I think it’s really powerful to revisit over the course of a key stage #REChatUK

@RE_McGEE @josephkinnaird We do something similar, we get them to consider their worldview at the start of Y7, then we ask them to reflect on this in Y9! It allows them to see how much they have developed or changed across our KS3 curriculum. #REChatUK

@josephkinnaird They do a very similar piece or writing at the start and end of a unit. The final version reflects on how their views have shifted - if they have and why. The questionnaire helps them plan this. #ReChatUk

@RE_McGEE @lizzim9 I like the idea of taking the students on a journey to help them understand their position and how they reached it. #REChatUK

@lizzim9 Yes. I think that opinions are part of personal knowledge but we are interested in how those opinions are formed and in particular evolve in light of their experiences - including their RE lessons. #REChatUK
