What a wonderful morning at @PrestonJDGym Almost 100 people participated in a 4 hour spinathon for Tommy’s Baby Loss and @AlzResearchUK. Over £1100 raised to be split equally between the two charities.

It’s fine to disagree on things but why do people resort to name calling. It’s unnecessary and unkind. If I behaved in this manner in my organisation I’d be up on a disciplinary. Politicians and general public alike need to stop this nonsense.

@bmay I was in that queue. People with EU passports were treated in the same inhumane way. Babies were overheating, people fainting. No staff, no crowd management, no communication. They knew how many planes were arriving. It was a shambles. All that was required was some organisation

But the passports are blue, what does it matter if we now have to suffocate our kids before we arrive at our hotels?

Way more than 500! Five flights each with 200 passengers. It was absolutely disgusting. Babies overheating, kids being squashed and people fainting. No toilet facilities, no water, no staff managing the situation. Even EU passport holders were stuck in the mayhem. Disgraceful.

@labourlewis One of the wettest areas of the uk. Yet a few days of relatively decent weather and there’s talk of droughts. Dereliction of duty United Utilities. I could go on to mention the state of the sewers where I live. Antiquated Victorian blocked with tree roots.

A drought has been declared in the northwest as reservoirs run dry. Last year, the private water company for the northwest, United Utilities, doubled its profits and hiked bills. Since privatisation, profit-first water companies have failed to build a single new reservoir. This is the reality of privatisation.
