@LoftusSteve @DPJHodges @ramonagusta A consistent, if not spectacular, majority supports going back in, Steve, so what will happen is… we will go back in. And Brexiteers will become the remoaners instead.

On today’s EU excitement. Brexit is no longer a touchstone issue, even in heavy leave areas. The view is “we voted for it, but they didn’t deliver it”. People have moved on. Immigration, huge issue. Brexit. No one mentions the word now

🔥 @TRobinsonNewEra used his massive stage to become the voice of 90 MILLION oppressed Iranians. Thank you for standing fearless against the evil Islamist regime that tortures, rapes, and kills our people for daring to demand freedom. Thank you for speaking up for millions of voiceless souls living under total internet blackout, brutal tyranny, and jihadist oppression. Down with the Islamic Republic. Unite the Kingdom.

For those suggesting Labour should just put #rejoinEU in their next manifesto and get a mandate that way... 🤔 A General Election which might be won with just a third of the votes cast simply cannot trump a (single issue) Referendum where more than half wanted to leave the EU!

Black people also lose their jobs simply for expressing a view. It isn’t just white people. White liberals are simultaneously ruining people’s lives while claiming the moral high ground. We are all flawed White progressives - you aren’t the good guys🙄

Former BBC News boss says she was driven out by gender ideologues within the corporation. Fran Unsworth, BBC Director of News and Current Affairs from 2018–2022, has spoken publicly for the first time about the bullying she says she faced inside the BBC after leaving her post, in an interview with Rob Burley. She said: “But it wasn’t just the trans issue. There was lots and lots of bullying going on about all sorts of things: people didn’t want to hear certain points of view; they’d ‘no platform’ them; all that safe-spaces s---.” Speaking to Burley, Unsworth suggested programme editors avoided critical reporting on trans issues for fear of attacks from colleagues. She also claimed reporters came under “an awful lot of pressure” from “other parts of the BBC” if the editorial direction of a story did not support a particular viewpoint. Unsworth said it became increasingly difficult to maintain impartiality within the BBC’s news division amid pressure on staff to adopt what she described as a “mono perspective” on trans issues. She described the problems within the BBC as reflective of the “progressive madness” engulfing other institutions. We are all aware of the BBC’s treatment of presenters with gender-critical views — just look at the case of Martine Croxall. Read more below 👇

Moving forward manifesto’s should be made a legally binding contract in order to protect the electorate from parties that lie just to get in power. Brexit was not in Labour’s manifesto Digital ID was not in Labour’s manifesto Assisted dying was not in Labour’s manifesto Jury Trials cancelled was not in Labour’s manifesto Abortion up until birth was not in Labour’s manifesto Jury Trials I could go on & on. Manifesto’s should be legally binding Who else agrees?

So @Keir_Starmer and @SadiqKhan had a meeting with Met Police to try and cause friction. Releasing tarnish statements all week. A few arrests for drunkenness at our event. Literal terror arrests at theirs. All whilst they called for me to be killed "like Charlie Kirk".
Metropolitan Police@metpoliceuk

We’re now able to provide a more detailed breakdown of the 43 arrests during yesterday’s central London public order policing operation.

Luca Signorelli is a hero. He is one of the bystanders who stopped the murderous fury of the man of Moroccan origin who today sowed violence and terror in Modena. Despite being injured, he sacrificed himself to save the lives of those who were there. I thank him for this valiant act of altruism, an example for all. - @Antonio_Tajani

@Joseph3Sengendo Heartbreaking and sickening. What an awful world we live in, when governments allow these poor dogs to be killed . All animals feel pain and suffering, just as we do. Their lives matter too. Shameful and absolutely disgraceful on the countries who do this.

Good luck to them. Our legislation will mean they’ll lose their jobs and their employer pensions if they do this. And save the taxpayer huge sums in redundancy pay! Everyone wins!
