@NiftyKaliM @tom_karnes @Ststansberry Hi Kali, I was not sure is schools require deposit but if they do that does set a restriction especially if there is a priority on money and are not able to place that money in a deposit although it is a school laptop they have to think of those that can not afford them.

@tom_karnes Accessibility wise, Schools should offer Chromebooks to take home or offer time after school to use them. Some challenges might be that schools require deposits and that can be hard for low-income families and some students can't stay after school. #EDTE4200 @Ststansberry

@alexmurphy02 @tom_karnes @doctor2pi Hi Alex, I as well think that if there is laptops being loaned there is an expectation that there is wifi which is not often so I think it would be good to offer free wifi so that there is not that placed limitation when offering this there is many aspects that are placed.

@tom_karnes A3) Technology is expensive so loaning out chromebooks and free wifi can help students have access at home. However, if something happened to their rentals, they are required to pay for a replacement which can steer people away from that option. #EDTE4200 #csubted @doctor2pi

@tom_karnes A3) Technology becomes accessible with programs that lend devices, or programs focused on teaching technology. There is difficulty in learning technology which limits access to technology so programs focused on technology eliminates limitation. #CSUBTED #CSUBEDTE4200 @doctor2pi

@mslopez99 @doctor2pi Hi Briana, I as well thought of Duolingo especially because it is something which is already being incorporated in society and has been improving the learners and is something that can be encouraged out of the schools as well.

@doctor2pi A2) A program that I have seen students use in the classroom is Duolingo. This allows students to have extra practice on their own improving their skills while also getting the support they need from the programs the schools provide. #CSUBEDTE4200 #CSUBTED @doctor2pi

@KierstenSCSUB @doctor2pi Hi Kiersten, I didn't of FlipGrid but when you explained your response I thought it would be important especially as well for those who can speak the language but not fully write this would take away from the written restriction of communication within English learners.

@doctor2pi A2) One app I learned could help benefit EL learners could be FlipGrid. It allows students to interact with each other through video and be able to comment on each others responses. It also benefits teachers to see the EL students progress.

@doctor2pi A2) A specific program I have been incorporated in the schools and in society is Duolingo which is focused to keep the learner engaged is entertaining and has the capability of teaching multiple languages in schools. #CSUBTED #EDTE4200 @doctor2pi

@LauraFount86072 @BarnellNicole @Duncannedd Hi Laura I agree with this as well and would include this in the schools since technology is already a aspect which society and children learn about and with this we can incorporate it by including their interests or as well by teaching them with current information.

@MichaelHCSUB @BarnellNicole Hi Michael I agree that there can be miscommunication if the child didn't understand information they can relay that information especially if they want to share things which can be important for the student there are many important aspects of technology with communication.

@BarnellNicole Technology in the classroom can be used in a few ways. In particular it is extremely useful in swift communication between teacher and student as well as teacher and parent. Clear communication is the core to any proper learning. #CSUBTED #EDTE4200 @BarnellNicole

@BarnellNicole A1)I would apply different google tools with their different options such being polls which can include their names or anonymous the teacher can tailor the questions which are focused on interests of the students and create different communication. #CSUBTED #EDTE4200 @doctor2pi
