@LWheelercsub @tom_karnes @Ststansberry Hello Lyndsey, I agree that computer labs can make technology more accessible to students. Some schools might not have the resources to provide chromebooks to every students but letting them have access to computers in a lab would be great. #CSUBTED #EDTE4200

@tom_karnes A3) We can make technology accessible to all members of the community by ensuring students can access chromebooks or computer labs. A barrier or limit might be that not all students/families might have the same access to technology at home. #csubted #csubedte4200 @Ststansberry

@Bdavidson97c @doctor2pi Hello Brittany, I agree that Google translate is a great tool for English learners. You are right the grammar or pronunciation might be off but it does help when needing to read things or get clarification. #CSUBTED #EDTE4200

@EClaireGriggs @tom_karnes @doctor2pi Hi Claire. I agree that there should be free internet/ WiFi for students. This would make it more accessible at home. I'm not sure if there is a way for all students to have their own chrome book for home with a hotspot or something that would help a lot.

@tom_karnes @doctor2pi A3) A way to make technology accessible in the community would be to make sure students have access to their work from home for example a Chromebook. A major issue with this would be if they did not have internet access at their home. #CSUBEDTE4200 #CSUBTED @doctor2pi

@Marlene45845063 @doctor2pi Hi Marlene, I also agree that Google translate can be a great tool for english learners. They have features like translating in real time from pictures which can be helpful when outside of school. Duolingo is really great to they have activities and help learn basic alphabet too.

@doctor2pi A2: The programs that works for me would be Google translate and Duolingo. I have been recommended to use Google translate. What I like about duolingo is the constant practice it offers. @Duncanned #EDTE4200 #csubted

@doctor2pi A2) A program that I have seen students use in the classroom is Duolingo. This allows students to have extra practice on their own improving their skills while also getting the support they need from the programs the schools provide. #CSUBEDTE4200 #CSUBTED @doctor2pi

@Salto_Leydi @BarnellNicole @Ststansberry Hi Leydi, I agree that there are many online games that are great for the classroom. I do like using programs like Lexia that feel like games to the kids but do teach and help them practice more. I think these are very useful for whole class activities.

@BarnellNicole Technology can be used to stay in contact with students and parents without compromising your personal information. There are also various interactive online games and applications that can be used to reinforce education. #csubedte4200 @Ststansberry

@BarnellNicole @doctor2pi A1) A way that I can use technology in my classroom to build relationships with my students is by implementing ClassDojo. I have used this in many classes and it does get the students excited/engaged to earn points and use those for rewards. #CSUBEDTE4200 #CSUBTED @doctor2pi
