2025 US guidelines for the management of ACS (STEMI and NSTE-ACS) just released. Insertion of a
microaxial flow pump (Impella) to prevent death in in cardiogenic shock has received a class IIa LOE B-R recommendation. IABP and VA-ECMO are class III for rourine use.

I don’t get offended easily, but implying that my content is responsible for somebody’s murder is pretty offensive…and tasteless. Vinay usually crusades against baseless claims with no evidence. I guess this one doesn’t count.

I see people are retweeting this in the wake of the assassination. That's in poor taste. Glaucomflecken is not actually a student of health policy. He doesn't understand insurance. Denying coverage does not increase their profits. That idea may have gotten someone murdered. Sad
