not sure it's entirely about "fighting back" we need to restructure society. people with multiple degrees already cannot find work. folks with decades long careers are seeing whole industries evaporate. if Ai is taking over everything, the govt needs to be working on UBI and other forms of societal changes to keep everything functional. when we were kids watching Jetsons and the like, we all thought our future would be full of robots to make every job and task easier. more freedom, more down time, more human experience.... none of us were told that ONLY billionaires and corporations would see the benefits, and hundreds of millions of humans would go unemployed, lose their income entirely, and thus lose their housing and ability to eat and survive. THAT is the difference. if by "fight back" you mean restrict the corporations from using superior Ai tech so all citizens can work long hard hours and be wage slaves for generations... that ain't it either. China will surpass us so fast we'll be stuck a full era behind them.
