If President Trump was going to tank the economy to achieve something big for the people - mass deportations was the option. The disruption to the economy would have been serious, but long run the people would benefit massively. Smashing Iran - doesn’t help a single American.

No it seems illogical what he's doing from the general public perspective. There must be calculations and expectations from this war from him. I hope he pulls another rabbit from the hat but it looks bad. He weighed pros and cons and believes he can pull it off. What's your theory?

I used to wonder how it was possible that Trump could have won in 2016, and then again in 2024, given how emotionally toxic and depraved he is. I don’t wonder anymore. Instead of daily case building, you've assumed the role of "expert". We don't trust experts anymore. Show us proof. It should be very easy based on the mountain of claims. Pick one and lay it out for us. Give us a straight line from point A to B. Everything is treated as common knowledge and that convinces no one and changes no hearts.

Israel is our enemy. Iran is just a middle eastern nation that Israel wants to destroy. Israel ran the Epstein blackmail operation that still controls our government. Some of the most hysterical doomsday predictions about this war might very well prove to be wrong. But a lot of influencers on this site are on the record offering many breezy assurances about how quick and painless this whole thing will be. I find those predictions at least as absurd and reckless as the extremes on the other side. And they’re looking more and more embarrassing by the day. Better to be overly wary of war than too cavalier about it. If our national experience over the past 30 years has taught us anything, it should be that.
