@markoilico Great strategy is to redesign a well known brand. I remember doing this in the past in the marketing space using Tony Robbins as an example to layout what a marketing funnel looked like and that post went viral.

Doing concept designs brought in $800K for the studio over the years. When I didn't have client work, I was designing for 9-10 hours a day, making sure it was really polished and posting it on Dribbble. Concept works because there you can truly show your capabilities. All the attention to detail, the creativity, because real work gets compromised a lot by business goals. If you're waiting for perfect client projects to build your portfolio, you'll wait forever.

The only down side to potentially hiring LaMar Morgan is that he’ll be viewed as Michigan’s second choice. Which, who cares? His play calling experience is valuable and he was number one on my pecking order outside of Corey Parker.

Just to avoid misunderstanding.. This is not an "official launch" of the search engine we've promised to build a while ago. This is merely a "progress report" to show that we're serious about this goal. Yep is still in very-very-very-very-very early Beta. We'll get there ;)

1. Their product changes very little. The changes they have made have required us to spend time switching to new functionality w/ no measurable benefit. 2. They monetize way too much. Volume of users in our app, number of team members using the app, new features.

@bchesky Very few airbnbs allowed pets. This is a great update if it increases availability!

"Hmm... I probably don't want to buy/trust results from the businesses that are good at SEO." Anyone else have experience this when searching? For me, happens in particular with tourism stuff, professional services, and e-commerce.

We made this change last month, but have improved the response time even more this month.

we make it a point to use video on our site. we used to use youtube bc it was easy. last month we make the change to @wistia, which has a cleaner UI and dynamic video stills. on site video views are up over 500%. small changes can have a big impact.
