@JeremyInFlight I’m more interested in other examples or alternate labels for the descriptors/levels than what to call the structure, but open to that too.

Does anyone know examples of what I’ll call a semantic hierarchy of proximity? …a way to describe location accuracy/relationship through words. Example: IN > NEAR > BY > POSSIBLY goes from most to least accurate when describing expected location of an asset in relation to a room

The cause may well already be lost, but I will always wince when I see or hear "learnings" as a plural noun.

@petervandijck @jarango I once heard compassion defined, in part, as recognizing that we are passing characters in other peoples' lives. It doesn't have to = letting people off the hook, or forgiving them. What's important is not to "other" and make 1-dimensional many of the people who voted for Trump.

@jarango I’ve come to think asking for compassion is too easy if you’re not the victim, too privileged. Those friends and neighbors support an administration that is actively trying to hurt many, many people. That’s just not ok.

As I see all the celebratory tweets, my mind goes to the 70+ million people who voted the other way. They're our neighbors, friends, and family. Many are likely scared, angry, and/or despondent. Any kind of viable future requires that we work together. 1/2
