@Jeromedafe @sandra_baebae @kenkenlewu lol you’re changing the direction, they didn’t allocate it to his wife but to him directly, I hope with this your theory he’s also automatically entitle to the man property or the man child should share property but other people should help them give their dad befitting burial

My wife has been fighting me because I refused to pay ₦500,000 to bury her father. Her family shared the bill for all the sons-in-law ₦500k each. Meanwhile, the man has five grown sons. I told my wife, “I’m sorry, but it’s not my responsibility to bury your father when his own sons are alive and well.” She reported me to her family. They called me, expecting me to comply. I told them clearly; I will give what I can, but I won’t be forced to pay a fixed amount. They got angry, called me rude, and said they don’t want my money again. Now my wife hasn’t spoken to me since. I'm the one being punished for refusing to do what her brothers should be doing.

@sandra_baebae @kenkenlewu 3. For those who care or choose to follow the Biblical precept of marriage, Your father in-law is like your father. Respect him when alive and ensure he's given a befitting burial when called unto glory. Moses gained wisdom from his father-in-law called Jethro.

@sandra_baebae @kenkenlewu Gen Z or awoke Gen giving opinions without recourse to culture & oneness in marriage 1. Husband & Wife is one. Whatever the siblings/family agreed and shared, it's your responsibility to help play her part, i.e., if she isn't capable and you got the means. 2.

@sandra_baebae @kenkenlewu 2. In some culture/family, son in-laws still have a designated riles like son-in-law "condolence visit, " or "digging of the grave". But with economic reality, they've softened/merged some of these. Whose responsibility to mourn with your wife if not the hubby?

Sometime last year...i raised a point in supporting the abolishing of iri-ekpe (taking your brother's properties when he die without having a son) in my umunna (kindred)...It didn't scale through....I had to wait for elections of umunna to come...I contested for chairman and lost with 3 votes....then i was made the vice chairman unopposed....The opportunity to put an end to that taking over of a man's properties because he didn't have a son now lies in my own hand.... February 8th 2026 being umunna meeting... chairman travelled to China for business meetings and handed full authority to me to be proceeding on affairs of the meeting...I did what I have to do....I used just one meeting to put an end to that trash.....The only way you can inherit your brother's properties in my umunna currently is if he died without having a child at all and the wife die after and leaving no one else that's when you can now enter..... We will keep rising!!!!

All your brother’s properties belong to his wife and kids. Not you as a sibling.

@ruffydfire e_transmission is still possible if the people decide. The masses can tell the Senate what they want, and it will be so.

The weeping has begun. How swiftly fortunes shift. Only days ago, they were emboldened, mocking suggestions that joining the ruling party conferred automatic presidential protection, convinced their benefactor would be eliminated "like a bug." Counsel toward humility was dismissed, emboldening the Governor to venture further into error. Now dawn has broken, and the gnashing of teeth echoes loudly. Crucially, the President remained neutral. He cautioned both sides and advocated for peace, while stating what discerning observers already knew… Wike's leadership in that state remains intact, independent of his position as FCT Minister. Rather than compounding strategic folly with continued treachery, recalibration isn't optional, it's survival. 🪴

@esegbona_luis Yes, I believe it's God's favour to have discovered Samuel. However, there are many Samuels out suffering largely due to systems failure. A country where children welfare takes backseats in appropriation of the common wealth would fail.

Honestly when I saw Samuel's first video, I cried. I thought to myself, "This boy doesn't need to be a tiler, he needs education at his age." "I dug my head to figure out how to help him. I didn't know that God wasn't yet done writing his story. Truly, God sees the beginning from the end. Congratulations to our celebrity-turned-millionaire tiler who has just been awarded a scholarship to study to university.

@TheIsokos Per vehicle is ~ $56,450 for the 2025 - 2025 edition. 65 × $56,450 = $3,669,250 (N5,136,950,000). This amount can comfortably give @DSGovernment smart primary and secondary schools. Or A 4.5 megawatts gas-fired turbine in one of those rural universities (e.g. Ozoro).

Dangote invested $688 million in education. 0 patents. Femi Otedola invested ₦5+ billion in education. 0 patents. Cosmas Maduka. 0 patents. Now pause. Walmart (a supermarket): 8,841 patents Tesla: 7,000 patents Apple: 116,000 patents Meta: 24,000 patents Shell: 12,500 patents All from university research pipelines. So what exactly are Nigerian universities doing? We are not running universities. We are running glorified secondary schools with professors. Globally, universities are judged by research output, patents, grants, and industry impact, not convocation gowns, social media noise, or strike press conferences. No patents. No serious research. No industrial relevance. Until our universities become research engines, Nigeria will keep importing ideas and exporting talent. This must change. Now.

My attention has been drawn to reports that the Nigerian-owned supertanker was seized by the United States authorities over allegations of crude oil theft and related illicit activities. While the full facts are still emerging, this development is deeply troubling and speaks to a much bigger crisis that has continued to undermine our national economy, our global reputation, and the future of our young people. Severally over the years, I have consistently alerted that Nigeria is losing billions of dollars annually to crude oil theft, a criminal enterprise that has been allowed to thrive because of weak institutions, lack of accountability, and an entrenched culture of impunity. When a nation’s most valuable resources are stolen in broad daylight, whether at home or on the high seas, its people inevitably suffer. Our schools deteriorate, our hospitals remain underfunded, insecurity worsens, and millions slip further into poverty. The seriousness of this incident should be appreciated and thorough investigation insituted to get the root of the matter. This incident should serve as a wake-up call. I have consistently mentioned that ordinary Nigerians cannot steal crude oil, and no responsible nation can afford to look away while its wealth is siphoned off by a network of powerful individuals. We must strengthen our maritime security, reform our regulatory agencies, digitise and transparently track every barrel of oil produced in this country, and dismantle the criminal cartels that have operated with impunity for decades. More importantly, we must rebuild Nigeria’s global image by showing the world that we are serious about the rule of law, honest governance, and responsible management of our national assets. A nation cannot attract investment when it is constantly in the news for corruption, theft, and mismanagement. Relevant Nigerian authorities should work with international partners to establish the facts of this case and ensure that anyone found complicit faces justice, without fear or favour. Our nation cannot continue on this path. Nigeria has everything it needs to become a prosperous and respected nation. What we lack is competent and compassionate leadership that will prioritise the welfare of our citizens. It is time for that to change. A New Nigeria is POssible. -PO
