Well, I needed yet another crisis like I needed a hole in my head, especially with Yolanda starting a new chemotherapy this morning. My electric recliner from @JeromesFurn gave me a fireworks show, followed by a quick smoke bomb, and is now frozen in the recline position. That made me think, I wonder how many house fires resulted from a power recliner. Initial data from a NFPA report analyzing 2010-2014 data, home fires that began with furniture averaged 5,630 per year. Electrical failures or malfunctions were factors in 14% of these fires (approximately 790 fires annually) and representing 12% of the associated deaths. These electrical issues encompass a range of appliances and equipment, including those integrated into furniture like power recliners (e.g., overheating batteries, wiring faults, or power supplies). I don’t really understand difference with promotion price and price guarantee. I paid higher price with saying price guarantee. However, on the 2nd day, they have promotion with price including sale tax. They said they don’t call it lower price. Jerome’s doesn’t pay taxes!?!?
