‼️BROKEN BRITAIN‼️ Two ex-servicemen outside Mark's & Spencers selling help for heroes badges and collecting money to help homeless veterans were told by M&S management to move from their shop. The reason given the Union Flag on their billboard may offend people!! This must have been unimaginable blow for those vets who fought for this country, under that flag. Absolutely disgusting! Shame, on Mark's & Spencers. MSM SILENCT ‼️

@Mike_Fabricant Oh no! They will have to change this historic (net wt 42g) label from "orange marmalade" to say "orange marmalade". Never mind the blow to our culture, imagine the phenomenal costs...

Number of voters begging for “citrus marmalade” labels: 0. Number of businesses now told to rip up packaging and comply with 76 new EU food rules: thousands. This isn’t cutting red tape. It’s wrapping British producers in Brussels’ bureaucracy all over again.

It wasn’t that long ago millions of young people had some of the best months of their lives stolen from them all to unsuccessfully avoid what was a nasty cold for the overwhelming majority. To suggest youngsters have not sacrificed anything in recent years is offensive guff.

@Jenny_1884 You got tax relief on your mortgage payments. Funny you don't remember that part 🤔

When I married in 1981 we both worked & most of our salary went on paying the mortgage as the interest rate was 15% at the time. Everything we owned was 2nd hand & we never went out for meals as we couldn’t afford to. We rented our TV Went to the launderette every weekend as had no washing machine. Only had new clothes at Xmas & birthdays as presents. We went without until we could save enough to pay for something. It’s always been hard whether you are young or old. So those out there that think we had it easy we didn’t. Our governments are to blame, not the old.

@Livarpoolky8p @simonwatt85 @kokeshimum Pretty sure he has and isn't relying solely on state pension and renting, otherwise he would have a slight clue about pension credit, housing benefit or DHP 🤷🏻

@simonwatt85 @kokeshimum Haven’t you saved or planned? Maybe cut down on you lattes, Netflix, get rid of the Range Rover and stop going abroad on holidays. I shouldn’t have to pay for your incompetence. You socialist are mad.

The National Living Wage is right now, £12.21 per hour. In a 35 hour week you will earn £427.35 so in a year it’s £22,222 Presumably they call it a living wage because that gives you enough to live on. A pensioner gets £10,000 less than that. Greedy blighters.

@aaron_p_edwards @OldWest1453 @RupertLowe10 And have I said that? Two arrogant assuming idiots claiming their interpretation of god is the only one that matters. One of them doesn't even recognise a bible verse. Would be funny if not so tragic.

Good Friday offers an important chance for quiet reflection - that applies whether you’re a regular churchgoer or not. For many millions, it holds deep religious meaning. For others, it is simply a reminder of the Christian values that have long shaped our country for the better. Fairness, humility, compassion, responsibility, duty. Sacrifice. Vital recognition that not everything needs to be rushed, or argued over, or endlessly debated. Some moments are better approached with a bit of much-needed perspective and thought. Good Friday reminds us of doing what is right when it is difficult, and even when it is not the most straightforward path to take. Because something worth doing is often not easy. In today’s Britain, with all of the many challenges we face as a people, that feels more valuable than ever. Wishing everyone a peaceful and reflective Good Friday.

@phyddeaux @RupertLowe10 😂 is that the best you have. Perhaps you can explain your claim that the "business was forced not to trade", especially given that it made nearly £8m in profit 😂😂😂😂

@aaron_p_edwards @Jerryinbath @RupertLowe10 Non-Christians love to define Christianity for us. In their telling, we are to accept whatever they cram down our throat without complaining, otherwise we aren't Christians.

To suggest we truly suffered during those months is a bit much, however as time increases I resent it more. I was 18/19 when it happened. It ruined the end of my second sixth form year. It ruined my first year in university. My engagement with the university was lower.

@ColetteColfer Court order arose because he acted like an insolent little child about the whole affair & can't conduct himself with some decorum. Wasn't even dealing with the child directly, but the snowflake lost his head over the whole thing. He's in the most fitting place for his behaviour

I fully agree that Burke is in prison for violating a court order. However, I think it’s important to acknowledge the root of the case. The court order arose because Burke refused to comply with his suspension. The suspension was the direct result of Burke’s objection, and his manner of objection, to compelled use of they/them pronouns for a singular male student.
Shaykh Dr. Umar Al-Qadri@DrUmarAlQadri

Enoch Burke is in prison for violating a court order to stay away from the school grounds, not for refusing to use “they/them” pronouns. He is not a religious hero. The lack of support from the Churches should make that clear. Don’t let bias prevent you from recognising facts.

@ColetteColfer Nope, still wrong. The court order arose because he was trespassing. He had NO right to be at the school. He can protest his suspension/dismissal without breaking the law, but he chose not to.

@pkeijlewer @0fukstogive @RupertLowe10 @RestoreBritain_ Rupert doesn't "genuinely" want to fix anything. He continually misrepresents information and fires off bigoted simplistic nonsense. His "big idea" is to reintroduce austerity economics - the same nonsense we've all seen before. Pointless.
