این تناقض رو هرگز درک نکردم. غرب حکومت شاه رو با سخت‌گیرانه‌ترین استانداردهای ممکن حقوق‌بشری می‌سنجید و‌ هرگز نگران خلا قدرت بعدش و حاکم شدن دیکتاتوری شدید‌تر بر ایران نبود. و بعدتر هم دیگه خمینی رو با استاندارد‌هایی که شاه رو باهاش می‌سنجید، قضاوت نکرد. ۴۷ سال، غرب بعد از سالها مذاکره با باقی‌مانده‌ی حکومت خمینی، از آن‌چیزی که به تلقی خودش بازگشت پسرِشاهه نگرانه و وقتی باهاش مواجه میشه همون سوالاتی رو ازش میپرسه که از پدرش پرسید ولی از خمینی و خامنه‌ای و قالیباف نمیپرسه. درین نشانه‌هاییست برای کسانی که می‌اندیشند.

La France y prendra toute sa part, en liaison étroite avec ses partenaires au Moyen-Orient. C’est ce que j’ai également évoqué dans mes échanges ce jour avec les dirigeants du Qatar, des Émirats arabes unis, du Liban et de l’Irak.
